Hope College women's basketball coach Brian Morehouse was invited to appear on Hoopsville — the only show dedicated to NCAA Division III basketball.
Morehouse spoke with Hoopsville creator and host Dave McHugh about the fourth-ranked and MIAA co-champion Flying Dutch, their season and their bid to win a sectional championship this weekend at DeVos Fieldhouse.
Watch the episode on YouTube and Facebook. Morehouse's appearance starts at the 36-minute mark.
The Flying Dutch enter this weekend with a 28-1 overall record. Earlier this season, they became the seventh NCAA Division III women's basketball program to reach the 800-win milestone.
Morehouse has a career record of 537-84 in 22 seasons for the Flying Dutch - a .865 win percentage that's one of the best in the country.
Since 2000, Hoopsville has been airing each basketball season — from November to March — on Sundays and Thursdays starting at 7 p.m. Eastern.
McHugh broadcasts Hoopsville out of his personal studios, the WBCA/NABC Studios, in the Baltimore area.
