The Hope College women's soccer team just could not find much offensive momentum and output at Ohio Northern University this weekend. Coach Leigh Sear's Flying Dutch tied non-league host ONU, 1-1, on Friday afternoon and suffered a 3-0 non-league loss to Capital (Ohio) University on Saturday.

The Crusaders (2-1) outshot Hope (0-1-3), 14-7, with a 7-2 Capital advantage in shots on goal and an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks. 

Junior goalie Jordanne Ellingboe of Grand Haven (Grand Haven HS) made four saves against the Crusaders.

Hope hosts the University of Chicago in Van Andel Soccer Stadium on Wednesday, September 11 at 7 p.m.
