The Hope College men's tennis team has concluded its regular reason schedule with a shut-out win at Adrian College on Wednesday, downing the Bulldogs, 9-0.
It marks the fifth time the Flying Dutchmen have blanked an MIAA rival this spring.
With the victory, Hope claimed second place in the final league standings. The Flying Dutchmen have a 6-1 record in the MIAA and are 6-7 overall.
Hope will next play in the MIAA Tournament, hosting a semifinal round at home on Thursday, May 6 at a time and opponent to be determined.

In singles, the Flying Dutchmen did not drop a set while in doubles, they lost just two games in three matches against the Bulldogs.
At No. 1 singles, sophomore Jacob Burkett of Clarkston, Michigan (Clarkston HS) did not drop a game to Adrian's Ronald Ducharme and won 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 2 singles, sophomore Tyler Stafford of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian HS) downed by Adrian's Ryan Cuddy, 6-3, 6-2.
At No. 3 singles, sophomore Tyler Koran of Salinas, California (Salinas HS) topped Adrian's Joey Quigley, 6-3, 6-0.
At No. 4 singles, sophomore Paul Washington of Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS) beat Adrian's Zachary Perry, 6-3, 6-3.
At No. 5 singles, sophomore Matt Henkel of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse CCity Central HS) defeated Adrian's Quinn Proctor, 6-0, 6-1.
At No. 6 singles, freshman Justin Fay of Naperville, Illinois (St. Francis HS) beat Adrian's Darrin Walter, 6-1, 6-3.
In doubles, Hope's No. 1 pair of Burkett and Henkel beat Ducharme and Cuddy, 8-0; Hope's No. 2 pair of Stafford and Washington downed Perry and Proctor, 8-0; and, Hope's No. 3 pair of sophomore Michael Hoffman (Holland, Mich./West Ottawa) and freshman Grant Hylland (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores) topped Gabriel Hankey and Jackson Wilcox, 8-2.
