The Hope College men's tennis team fell to Kalamazoo College, 5-0, in the championship match of the MIAA Tournament on Saturday.

The Flying Dutchmen finished the season with a 7-8 overall.

Hope advanced to the finals after a semifinal victory over Calvin University, 5-0, on Thursday.

Hope's closest matches in doubles play came at the No. 3 pairing of Cameron Coates (Stevensville, Michigan / Laurel Springs) and Tyler Koran (Salinas, California / Salinas) who lost, 8-3, to Kalamazoo's Jai Banerji and Dylan Drier.

After sweeping doubles, the Hornets notched two singles wins at the number two and four flights to complete the match.
