The Hope College women's soccer team lost at Trine University, 3-0, in the MIAA semifinals on Wednesday.
The Flying Dutch closed the season with a 10-5-2 overall record.
It was Hope's second consecutive season with double-digit wins and 10th in the past 12 years.
Second-seeded Trine jumped out quickly against the Flying Dutch with three first-half goals, including the game-winner from Olivia Butterworth 9 minutes, 52 seconeds into the game.
Third-seeded Hope outshot Trine by a 16-10 margin.
Trine goalkeeper Sophie Aschemeier made six saves.
Trine (11-4-3) advanced to play at top-seeded Calvin University in the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 5.
