Madison McCreery Selected As The MIAA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete Of The Week

Hope College's Madison McCreery is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week.

The attacker from Rockford, Michigan is receiving the honor for the first time this season.

McCreery averaged 2.3 points in two Flying Dutch victories last week.

The psychology major put in a single goal in the 16-14 comeback victory over Siena Heights to open the season on Wednesday.

The senior Rockford HS alumni produced four goals to lead the Flying Dutch in their win over Carroll (WI) , 21-6, on Saturday.

McCreery also tallied two assists, had four shots on goal and caused two turnovers to help put Hope at 2-0 after two games.
