Junior Jack Crawford and sophomore Logan DeWitt both fired 4-over-par 76s for the Hope College men's golf team during the final round of the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational on Saturday.
Their rounds at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois, helped the Flying Dutchmen move into a 10th-place tie after finishing the 25-team, two-day tournament with a 36-hole total of 625 (314-311). Hope equaled Central College (Iowa) and Edgewood College (Iowa).
Seventh-ranked Illinois Wesleyan won the event at 6-over (283-299—582).

DeWitt (Zeeland, Michigan / Holland Christian HS) tied for 19th place. He recorded two birdies on the front nine on Saturday and parred 10 holes during his final round.
Crawford (Carmel, Indiana / Carmel) tied for 30th at 10-over. He shot one birdie on the back-nine and registered 12 parks for the entire round.
Hope headed into the final round in 13th place.

Sophomore Will Robson (Grand Rapids, Michigan / East Grand Rapids) carded an 80.
Junior Seth Almquist (Minneapolis, Minnesota / Wayzata) finished with an 86.
Playing as an individual, freshman Ben Jackson (Fort Wayne, Indiana / Carroll) shot a 79 on Saturday.
