The Hope College men's golf team placed third at the 13-team Trine University A.C. Eddy Invitational on Saturday.
The Flying Dutchmen shot a team score of 301 to finish nine strokes behind the host Thunder and three strokes behind second-place Adrian College.
Junior Jack Crawford (Carmel, Indiana / Carmel HS) and sophomore Logan DeWitt (Zeeland, Michigan / Holland Christian) both tied for seventh place in the individual standings.
Crawford and DeWitt each carded 3-over-par 74s at Zollner Golf Course.
Sophomore Will Robson (Grand Rapids, Michigan / East Grand Rapids), pictured, tied for 20th after carding a 76.
Freshmen Jack Guerrera (Northville, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central) and Ben Jackson (Fort Wayne, Indiana / Carroll) tied for 26th after shooting 77s.
A second Hope team tied for fifth with a 305 team score.
Sophomore Brian Marx (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan / Pontiac Notre Dame Prep) fired a 76.
Junior Seth Almquist (Minneapolis, Minnesota / Wayzata) shot a 76.
Freshman John Barce (Fort Wayne, Indiana / Blackhawk Christian) and junior Tim Wageman (Chesterfield, Michigan / Saline) tied for 33rd with 78s.
Hope returns to the link on Saturday, April 16, at 1 p.m. when the Flying Dutchmen host the first round of the MIAA's 54-hole NCAA Division III Championships qualfier at Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive.
