Due to winter weather and travel concerns, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced schedule changes for the 2023 Men's Basketball Tournament.
First-round games scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 22, have been rescheduled to Thursday, Feb. 23, and will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Third-seeded Hope College is scheduled to host sixth-seeded Adrian College in an MIAA Tournament opener at DeVos Fieldhouse. The other first-round game pits fifth-seeded Albion College at fourth-seeded Olivet College.
Semifinal games and the championship game remain scheduled for Friday-Saturday, Feb. 24-25, at top-seeded Calvin University.
Tickets already purchased for Wednesday's games will be honored for Thursday's games.
Tickets can be purchased through the
MIAA website and at the door. On Thursday, doors are scheduled to open at DeVos Fieldhouse at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for MIAA faculty, MIAA staff and non-MIAA students. Children 5 and under are free.
