The Hope College men's tennis team earned two points during their second outing of the spring break Florida trip. 

The 7-2 loss to NCAA Division II Trinity College (Conn.) featured senior Matt Henkel and sophomore Austin Becksvoort (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian HS) tallying points for Hope. 

Henkel, a Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central) native, defeated his opponent in two sets, both 6-2 and 6-2 in the No. 5 singles slot. 

Becksvoort won against his Trinity College opponent in two sets as well, 6-2 and 6-1. 

Hope takes the court again on Wednesday, March 22 as they take on Luther College at the USTA Training Center at 8:30 a.m. and face off with St. Lawrence University at 6:30 p.m.
