Dylan Clem Voted to Academic All-America® Football First Team

Hope College offensive guard Dylan Clem makes his mark on the football field and in the classroom.

The guard from Stevensville, Michigan (Lakeshore HS) has been voted to the 2023 NCAA Division III Academic All-America® football teams as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Clem is a civil engineering major who is one of five offensive linemen to receive first-team honors on the Academic All-America® football teams.

The 6-3, 293-pound Clem is one of 26 overall first-team selections.

Clem joins 11 previous Hope football student-athletes chosen to the Academic All-America® football teams.

The Division III Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards-fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Division III Academic All-America® program.

After the 2023 season, Clem earned All-America honors from D3football.com for the first time and All-MIAA honors for the third season.

His blocking powered the Flying Dutchmen to a league-best 230.0 rushing yards per game. At right guard, Clem did not allow a sack. Hope averaged 38.1 points per game, second-highest among MIAA teams.

Hope finished with an 8-2 overall record.
