Women's Basketball Tournament This Weekend Moved to Calvin

The nationally-ranked Hope College women's basketball team is changing courts next weekend.

The Flying Dutch will not host a two-day, four-team tournament because of the MIAA Volleyball Tournament on Friday, Nov. 15-16, at DeVos Fieldhouse.

Instead, the basketball tournament will shift to Calvin University's Van Noord Arena. Game times will remain the same as previously scheduled.

On Friday at 5 p.m., Calvin will play nationally-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University. At 7 p.m., Hope will face Loras College (Iowa), which received votes in the D3hoops.com preseason poll.

On Saturday at 2 p.m., Calvin will square off against Loras. At 4 p.m., Hope will play Illinois Wesleyan.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Calvin ticket office or at the door.

Hope was ranked ninth in the Women's Basketball Coaches Preseason Poll and 12th in the d3hoops.com preseason rankings.

Illinois Wesleyan was 10th in the D3hoops.com preseason poll and 11th in the WBCA rankings.
