MIAA Volleyball Tournament Schedule and Ticket Information

Hope College will host the semifinals and finals on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 15-16, at DeVos Fieldhouse

The MIAA regular-season champion Hope College volleyball team aims to claim back-to-back MIAA Tournament titles for the first time in program history this weekend.

The second-ranked Flying Dutch will host the semifinals and finals on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 15-16, with a spot in the NCAA Division III Championships up for serve.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the MIAA website or at the door for all three rounds. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the door.

Hope (23-2 overall) is the top seed for the MIAA Tournament after going undefeated in league matches for the second consecutive season.

The Flying Dutch won all 24 sets against MIAA opponents, the first league champion to accomplish the feat in five years.

The MIAA Tournament starts on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. with two quarterfinal matches on campus sites.

Third-seeded Albion College (9-22) will host sixth-seeded Alma College (7-21). Fourth-seeded Trine University (21-5) will host fifth-seeded Adrian College (7-12).

On Friday at 4:30 p.m., second-seeded Calvin University (18-8) will face the Albion-Alma winner at DeVos Fieldhouse. At 7 p.m. Hope will play the Trine-Adrian winner.

Friday's winners will meet in the MIAA Tournament title match on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The MIAA Tournament champion receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships. The NCAA field will be announced on Monday, Nov. 18.

Hope's all-time MIAA Tournament record is 37-19, including a 20-4 mark in the semifinals and 5-15 in the finals.
