The second-ranked Hope College volleyball team used dominance to take home two more victories and another unbeaten weekend.
The Flying Dutch took down Ohio Wesleyan University and Wittenberg University in three sets apiece during the final day of the MIAA/NCAC Crossover on Saturday at Calvin University.
Hope (6-0) finished the tournament with three victories.
During the 25-22, 25-23, 25-14 victory over Ohio Wesleyan, senior Addie VanderWeide (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Grand Rapids Christian HS) led Hope with 16 kills.
Seniors Alison DeWeerd (Kentwood, Michigan / South Michigan) and Annie Lockett (Mason, Ohio / Willam Mason) added 10 and 8 kills apiece, respectively.
Sophomore Kathryn Oates (Liberty Township, Ohio / Cincinnati Christian) topped Hope in digs with 13.
Senior Samantha Seib (Elkhorn, Wisconsin / Catholic Central) recorded 11 digs and a team-high three aces.
Junior setter Lauren Lee (Plymouth, Michigan / Skyline) had a game-high 38 assists for Hope.
Against Wittenberg, Hope continued its winning ways, taking the first 10 of 11 points in the first set en route to a 25-8, 25-19, 25-21 win.
Lockett recorded a season-high 14 kills against Wittenberg. DeWeerd collected 10 kills. VanderWeide chipped in eight kills.
Lee finished with 38 assists and nine digs for the Flying Dutch.
Sophomore Jenna Blum (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) and Oates each had 12 digs apiece.
Senior Tess Herendeen (Fort Wayne, Indiana / Homestead) served three of Hope's seven aces during the match.
Hope finishes its seven-match road game streak on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. Central at Wheaton College (Ill.).
