Football Holds Spots in AFCA, D3football Rankings

The Hope College football team maintained its place in this week's national polls.

The Flying Dutchmen sit 18th in the American Football Coaches Association NCAA Division III rankings for the second consecutive week.

Hope is 19th in the D3football poll for the second week in a row.

On Saturday, the Flying Dutchmen defeated Kalamazoo College, 56-21, at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium, raising their record to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in MIAA play.

Hope's next game is at unbeaten Adrian College on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs (6-0, 3-0 MIAA) are 25th in this week's D3football rankings and finished just outside the AFCA's Top 25.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Adrian College Box Office or at the gate.
