Football Maintains Top 20 Place in AFCA and D3football Polls

The Hope College football team moved up one spot in this week's American Football Coaches Association rankings for NCAA Division III and maintained its place in the D3football poll.

The Flying Dutchmen (8-1) rose to 15th in the AFCA poll following a 52-0 victory against Calvin University on Saturday in front of a Ray and Sue Smith Stadium crowd of 5,651.

Hope remained 16th in the AFCA rankings.

North Central College (Illinois) topped both polls.

The Flying Dutchmen finish the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m. at home for Senior Day against The University of Olivet at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased through the Hope College Ticket Office in advance or at the gate beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The Hope-Olivet game will be live-streamed on the Anchor Network on YouTube.
