The Hope College women's volleyball team is headed to a familiar place for the NCAA Division III Tournament this week.
The nationally ranked and MIAA regular-season champion Flying Dutch return to Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh for the eight-team, three-day regional that runs Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20-22.
Hope (22-6) will face USA South Tournament champion Southern Virginia University (23-8) for the first time in the regional quarterfinals on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
It will be the Flying Dutch's second appearance at Carnegie Mellon this season. Hope won a three-set match against the host Tartans on Sept. 18.
Also competing in the Carnegie Mellon regional are Wisconsin-Eau Claire (27-4), St. Mary's (Md.) (17-14), Otterbein (24-5), Wittenberg (20-7), Hope (22-6) and Southern Virginia (23-8).
