Women's Basketball Ranked Ninth in Both National Polls

The Hope College women's basketball team is ranked ninth in both national polls this week.

The Flying Dutch moved up one spot to No. 9 in the D3hoops.com rankings, totaling 408 points.

Hope remained ninth in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association rankings with 165 points.

The D3hoops.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.

The WBCA NCAA Division III Coaches Poll Committee is composed of one head coach from each of the 10 NCAA Division III regions

The Flying Dutch are off to a 7-1 start to the season.

Hope returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at Kalamazoo College in MIAA play.
