Women's Basketball Trio Earns All-MIAA Accolades

Three Hope College women's basketball teammates have claimed All-MIAA honors for the 2024-25 season.

Senior guards Olivia Bellows and Jada Garner both were voted to the six-player All-MIAA First Team by the league's coaches. Freshman guard Anna Richards made the six-player second team.

The 5-6 Bellows (Lake City, Michigan / Lake City HS) earned her second All-MIAA recognition; she was All-MIAA Second Team as a junior.

The elementary education major topped the Flying Dutch in scoring in MIAA games this season at 11.3 points over 16 league games.

The 5-6 Garner (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow) is a two-time All-MIAA selection. She was the MIAA's Most Valuable Player as a junior.

An exercise science major, Garner led Hope in assists during MIAA play with 38 in 16 games while averaging 10.1 points per league game.

The 6-0 Richards (DeWitt, Michigan / Lansing Catholic) averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in her first MIAA season.

The trio helped the Flying Dutch to a second-place 14-2 mark in the MIAA standings this season. Hope earned the No. 2 seed for the MIAA Tournament.
