The Hope College men's tennis team concluded its season in the MIAA Tournament finals, battling hard but ultimately falling at top-seeded Kalamazoo College, 4-0, on Saturday.
The second-seeded Flying Dutchmen opened the match with with a victory at No. 3, but the Hornets took the remaining two doubles matches to gain the early edge.
In singles play, Kalamazoo (15-5) garnered straight set wins at the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 flights to end the match and secure the MIAA's berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Hope, which was runner-up to the Hornets during the regular season, finished at 9-13 overall.
