The Hope College men's cross country team rocketed to 14th in this week's United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll for NCAA Division III.
The Flying Dutchmen launched ahead nine spots in the rankings, the highest riser in the 30-team poll.
Hope is the highest-ranked team from the Great Lakes Region.
Led by head coach
Mark Northuis, the Flying Dutchmen resume their fall season on Friday, Sept. 19, at Western Michigan University's George Dales Invitational in Kalamazoo.
The men's 8K is scheduled to begin at 10:40 a.m.
