Women's Basketball Climbs in WBCA and D3hoops National Polls

The Hope College women's basketball team moved up in this week's national rankings.

The Flying Dutch rose two spots to seventh in this week's Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll.

Hope also climbed two spots to ninth in the D3hoops rankings.

The WBCA NCAA Division III Coaches Poll Committee is composed of one head coach from each of the 10 NCAA Division III regions.

The D3hoops.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the country.

Last week, the Orange and Blue defeated Saint Mary's College, 90-48, on Saturday at DeVos Fieldhouse and Adrian College, 84-65, on Wednesday at home.

Hope (14-2, 7-1 MIAA) will take a three-game winning streak into the Wednesday, Jan. 21, game against visiting Kalamazoo College. Tipoff is 7 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the door.
