The Hope College women's golf team posted a 7th-place finish at MIAA Jamboree #3 on Tuesday, shooting a team score of 335 at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
Kalamazoo College took top honors for the round with a team score of 315, while Adrian College finished just one stroke behind in second at 316.
Through three jamborees, Adrian holds the top spot in the overall MIAA standings, followed by Trine in second and Albion in third. Hope currently sits in fourth place.
Sophomore Gabby Hanover (Mason, Michigan / Mason HS) paced the Flying Dutch by tying for 7th place with a team-low score of 78.
Playing as an individual, sophomore Jozie Mitran (Libertyville, Illinois / Libertyville) posted Hope's second-lowest score of the day, finishing tied for 23rd with an 83.
Senior Rachael Jones (Grove City, Ohio / Grove City) and senior Kylie Gernaat (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Christian) closely followed, both tying for 27th place after shooting matching rounds of 84.
Rounding out the lineup for Hope, sophomore Kennedy Gernaat (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Christian)carded an 89 to tie for 41st, senior Allyson Zuidema (Northville, Michigan / Northville) shot a 90 to place 43rd, and sophomore Leah Krieger (Lowell, Michigan / Lowell Senior) posted a 93 to finish tied for 48th.
Hope plays in the final fall MIAA jamboree on Monday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. in Notre Dame, Indiana.
