Five from Women’s Lacrosse Make IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Five seniors from the MIAA champion Hope College women's lacrosse team have been chosen for the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll for the 2025-26 academic year: Julia Brown, Caroline Curnutt, Ruby Heuermann, Sydney LaPrairie, and Caleigh Randall.

To be eligible, student-athletes must either be a junior, senior, or graduate student during the season and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Brown, the Flying Dutch's all-time leading goal scorer, majored in sociology with an emphasis in criminal justice. The attacker from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Central HS), was named an IWLCA All-Great Lakes Region first-team selection and the MIAA's Offensive Most Valuable Player for the second time in her career this season

Curnutt (Fishers, Indiana / Heritage Christian HS) majored in elementary education while excelling as a defender and claiming MIAA Defensive Player of the Year accolades.

Heuermann (Granger, Indiana / Penn HS) majored in psychology while playing on defense.

LaPrairie (Rochester, Michigan / Stoney Creek HS) majored in nursing while contributing as a midfielder.

Randall (Lansing, Michigan / DeWitt HS) majored in elementary education while excelling as a midfielder and earning All-MIAA First Team distinction for the fourth time.
