Biography

GET TO KNOW

Why did you choose to attend Hope College? I love the people, the coaches and the whole spiritual atmosphere around Hope.

What were your favorite subjects in high school? History

Name a role model or models who have impacted your life? And describe how. My father, just in how he raised me to be relentless and never satisfied in all that I do and to keep pushing, to never give up, never give in. To go above and beyond what everyone else is doing.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. Romans 12:6-8 "Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads,[a] with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness." This section has really called to me as I kept wondering and trying to figure out what to do with my life.

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? Some fruit and a gatorade

What is your favorite pre-game music? Hype Music (ex. rock, hip hop, rap etc.)

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be and why? Boxing, I've been training in boxing for the last 2 and a half years as a way to become a better football player so it would be nice to go all in on that and start doing it as one of my primary sports.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Its not enough to know what to do, you must do what you know
Who is the best Hope College professor? Professor Brouwer

After I graduate I plan to… Enlist in the U.S. Army

What gets you in the zone before a game? Listening to music and positive visualization

What is the best game you have been apart of? Trine 2019

What is an experience you have done off? The summer after my freshman year, working 50-60 hours a week and not missing a lift or run. After that everything else seems easy.

One life lesson I have learned from myself. You can achieve anything if you put in the work.

Name a role model who has impacted your life. My Father. I am very thankful for how he raised me, even though I wasn't when I was growing up

The thing in my life I am most proud of. 2019 MIAA Championship
