GET TO KNOW

Why did you choose to attend Hope College? I chose Hope because I fell in love with the people, location, and overall feel of the campus. I wanted a small, Christian school with strong academics, but also great volleyball, and Hope was the perfect fit.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. One of my favorite passages is Isaiah 40:28-31 because it is a great reminder of God's power and the strength we can gain from putting our faith and hope in Him.

What is your favorite pre-game music? Anything upbeat gets me pumped up and ready to play.

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be and why? Ski jumping, because I love the feeling of racing down the slopes, and it always looks fun when the skiers take off and fly through the air.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."
