Brendann Brown joined the Hope College Football coaching staff as Sam and Nickels coach for the 2025 season.
Brown played at Grand Valley State University for four seasons, earning All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2021 and 2019 as a linebacker. He totaled 125 tackles, two forced fumbles and one interception during his career. He was named GVSU's most improved defensive player in 2019.Â
In high school, Brown played at Farmington Hills Harrison for Hall of Fame head coach John Harrington.Â
Brown earned his Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from GVSU in 2023 and his bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies in 2021.
