Hope College

Jake VanderVeen '18 joined the Hope College football coaching staff beginning in 2019. He is a volunteer assistant coach who works with the offensive line.

He played four football seasons for the Flying Dutchmen. He was selected as an All-MIAA offensive guard during his senior season when Hope finished with an 8-2 record.

VanderVeen graduated with bachelor's degrees in business and accounting.

He now works in operations for Steelcase Co in Grand Rapids. He is married to Brooke VanderVeen ‘17.
