Hope College

Jim Caserta joined the Hope College Football coaching staff for the 2017 season. He coaches running backs.

Caserta coached quarterbacks from 2017-2013.

Prior to coming to Hope, Caserta coached football at the high school level for 35 seasons in Michigan and Ohio.

He was head football coach at Holland Christian High School for five seasons, West Ottawa High School for 15, Findlay High School in Ohio for six, and Paulding High School in Ohio for five. He also was an assistant football coach for four years at Paulding.

Caserta coached varsity baseball at Holland Christian and West Ottawa as well. He led Holland Christian to a Division 2 state baseball title in 2016 and West Ottawa to a Division 1 state baseball title in 2003.

Caserta was a two-sport student-athlete Bowling Green State University before graduating. He played football and baseball at Bowling Green.

Caserta and his wife, Deb, live in Holland. They have two sons, Justin '09 and Grant, and five grandchildren.
