GET TO KNOW 

Why did you choose Hope College? I chose Hope because I saw so much of myself in the campus community. Everyone I met during my tour treated me really nicely and as I walked around campus, every person I passed was extremely friendly. Hope also kept in contact with me and that showed me they cared and that they wanted me to be apart of something special. 

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? And why? Cosmic purple Skittles because a famous NFL player does also. 

What is your favorite movie and why? Spider-man 1, 2, and 3

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Only the strong will continue.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. Isaiah 41:10 - So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 

Please list any service opportunities you plan to be engaged with this year: Both on campus and off campus. (i.e. Mortar Board, CASA, Dance Marathon, Boys & Girls Club). I haven't dived in to many yet, but I will. 

 Who is the best Hope College professor? Professor Owens because he engages with his students regardless of the topic he is covering in class. He makes the learning enjoyable while at the same time obtainable.

 After I graduate I plan to… Find a job that I enjoy

 What gets you in the zone before a game? Listen to music

 What is the best game you have been apart of? When we scored 80 points against a team

Who is your athletic hero or inspiration? All pro athletes inspire me to play

 How does your sport bring you joy? Its more than a sport, it teaches you things that will help you throughout life.

 What is an experience you have done off? Doing well in school and creating bonds with teachers, family, and friends.

 One life lesson I have learned from myself. You grow through what you go through

Name a role model who has impacted your life. My mother because she has been disabled throughout her entire life but she has never let it stop her from doing the things she needs to do.

 List a favorite Bible verse and why. For we walk by faith, not by sight 2 Corinthians 5:7

 The thing in my life I am most proud of. That I am true to who I am as a person. I am truly proud of what I have become so far.
