Ken George

Ken George served a full-time assistant coach for Hope College Men’s Basketball during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. He previously served as a part-time assistant for the Flying Dutchmen for four seasons.

Before joining Hope, George coached boys basketball at the high school level for three decades. He won 341 games over 24 seasons at Forest Hills Central in Ada, Michigan, and led the Rangers to nine conference championships, four Michigan High School Athletic Association district titles and three MHSAA regional championships. George taught language arts and communication at Forest Hills Central before retirement. He operates camps and clinics for youth basketball players and coaches in Grand Rapids through the West Michigan Guard Academy and HoopSmart.

A 1986 Farmington Hills Harrison High School and 1990 Albion College graduate, George played point guard for the Britons. He and his wife, Meggan, have two sons, Jordan, a 2020 Hope graduate, and Tyler, a 2022 graduate.
