Megan Scheldt

Megan Scheldt has been an assistant coach for the Hope College women's lacrosse program since the 2016 season. Scheldt also works as a Career Counselor for the college's Boerigter Center for Calling and Career.

Scheldt came to Hope after helping start the Lourdes University (Ohio) women's lacrosse program. In the inaugural season with Lourdes, the Gray Wolves had one player earn National Women’s Lacrosse League Honorable Mention All-American honors as well as Honorable Mention All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference accolades. Scheldt received a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Lourdes in 2015.

A Westminster, Maryland native Megan attended Saint Vincent College where she played for the Bearcats for four seasons.  She was among the team's top three goal scorers each of her final two seasons, and also served as a team captain her junior and senior year.  She scored 96 career goals and tallied 113 points, ranking sixth in program history.  She helped the Bearcats advance to the Presidents Athletic Conference championship game as a senior and was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll in 2013 for her efforts in the classroom. Scheldt is a 2013 graduate of Saint Vincent, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

Scheldt's husband, Chris '12, is an assistant coach with Hope's men's lacrosse program.
