Dan Margritz

Dan Margritz joined the Hope College athletic department in July 2016 as the strength and conditioning coordinator for the entire athletic program.

He also worked with the Hope Football team as linebackers coach from 2016-2021.

Margritz came to Hope after spending the past 1 ½ years as the head strength and conditioning coach for football, soccer, basketball and lacrosse at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. He also was the assistant head coach, defensive coordinator, running backs coach and strength coach for the Macon Road Baptist varsity football team during that time. Macon Road was state runner-up twice during his tenure.

Margritz played football at Concordia University in Nebraska before graduating in May 2012 with a bachelor’s in fitness studies. He lined up as a running back and slot receiver at Concordia. He also served as an intern strength and conditioning coach at Concordia his senior year.

Margritz and his wife, Tabitha, have twin daughters, Ava and Presley.
