Carrie Lehocky '07 rejoined the Hope College volleyball staff prior to the 2018 season and became associate head coach in 2022. She also serves as an assistant professor of kinesiology at Hope.

In 2024, Lehocky was chosen as the American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III Assistant Coach of the Year.

During her Hope volleyball playing career, Lehocky was a defensive specialist who was on the coaching staff for the 2009 national semifinalist team.

Lehocky coached for seven years with the Impact Dynamic Volleyball club, six years at Byron Center High School and one year apiece at Grand Haven and West Ottawa high schools. She also coached two years of freshmen girls basketball at Byron Center.

Lehocky was a middle school physical wellness instructor for West Ottawa Public Schools. She graduated from Hope College with a B.A. in Physical Education and a Health Education minor.

When Lehocky isn’t coaching or teaching, she can be found exploring the outdoors. She enjoys hiking and camping with her dog.
