Jaelianna Primus joined the volleyball coaching staff in May of 2023 after a successful playing career at Grand Valley State University.
A formidable blocker, Primus was the GLIAC Freshman of the Year and blocking leader in 2019. She was named First Team All-GLIAC and GLIAC Blocker of the Year in 2021.
While earning her Bachelor’s of Social Work, Primus worked with a variety of different populations including inmates, senior citizens, refugees, teenage girls and domestic violence survivors.
Primus has coached club volleyball for Impact Dynamic and worked as a Tournament Director since 2019.
In her spare time, Primus enjoys singing, boxing, cleaning and organizing.
