The Hope women's cross country team ran away with two division titles at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday.
The Flying Dutch won the 26-team Blue Division with 91 points and the 33-team Silver Division with 58 points. Both divisions featured non-NCAA Division I teams.
In the Blue Division, sophomore Casey Campbell of Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek HS), pictured at right, topped Hope by placing fourth in 18:45.69. The Flying Dutch also received points from senior Camille Borst of Allendale (Allendale HS) in ninth (18:59.3), senior Katie Carlson of Rockford (Rockford HS) in 21st at 19:16.64, sophomore Julia Stock of Spring Lake (Grand Haven HS) in 25th at 19:19.36 and junior Emily Wrozek of Clark Lake (Hanover-Horton HS) in 32nd at 19:27.52).
In the Silver Division, freshman Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Ill. (Wheaton-Warrenville South) led Hope by placing 10th in the 5K with a time of 19 minutes, 19 seconds.
The Flying Dutch also received points from freshman Jessica Gaines of Sterling Heights (Utica Academy) in 16th at 19:22, freshman Emily Joosse of Chillicothe, Ohio (Zane Trace HS) in 22nd at 19:27,freshman Mackenzie Govier of China, Mich. (Marine City) in 34th at 19:54 and junior Katie Afton of Portage (Portage Central HS) in 35th at 19:57.
