Seniors Camille Borst of Allendale (Allendale HS), Meredith Busman of Coopersville (Coopersville HS) and Sheri McCormack of Holland (West Ottawa HS) will join a select group of captains for the Hope College women's cross country team in the 2013 season.

Borst, a nursing major, has been named to the Cross Country Academic All-American, All-Region, and All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) teams each of her three years at Hope and has represented Hope College at the a NCAA National Cross Country Championships each of those three years. She is the proud founder of Hope Women's "Pain Train".

Busman, a biology and pre-med major, spent last spring term she studying in Italy.  She has been named to the Cross Country Academic All-American, All-Region, and All-MIAA teams sophomore and junior years at Hope and has represented Hope College at the a NCAA D-III Cross Country Championships both of those seasons. She is the team's gourmet food expert.

McCormack, a chemistry, pre-med and denistry major, studied in Spain this past summer. She has been named to the Cross Country Academic All-American, All-Region, and All-MIAA teams sophomore and junior years at Hope and has represented Hope College at the D-III Cross Country Championships both of those seasons. Last fall, McCormack narrowly missed earning All-American honors by two places. She has also earned the same honors in track and field and has competed in the National Track and Field Championships in the 1500 meters the past two seasons. Sheri is the school record holder for the 1500 (track) and 6k (cross country).
