The Hope College women's cross country is ranked 18th in this week's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll.

The Flying Dutch, coached by Mark Northuis, moved up eight spots from the preseason poll.

Hope also is ranked third in the Great Lakes Region rankings. 

In men's cross country, Hope is ranked seventh in the Great Lakes Region.

The Flying Dutch and Flying Dutchmen will compete next at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 28 hosted by Adrian College.
