The Hope women's golf team rose two spots during the final round of the Olivet College Invitational to finish 10th at the two-day, 18-team tournament on Saturday.
The Flying Dutch shot a final round of 348 for a 36-hole total of 710. Bethel (Ind.) finished at 637 for the win. Hope posted the second-best total among Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) teams in the field, trailing only runner-up Olivet (662).
Junior Andrea Powell led the Flying Dutch on Saturday with a 13-over-par 85 at The Medalist Golf Club near Marshall. She finished tied for 43rd at 178.
Junior Montana Leep of Hastings (GR South Christian) fired back-to-back 86s to lead Hope for the tournament. She placed 26th.
Freshman Dominique Molinaro of Port Huron (Port Huron Northern) also had a final round 86 for a total of 177 that tied for 38th.
Senior Mary Bradley of Pierson (Tri County) added a 91 to round out the Flying Dutch's scoring on Saturday.
