Flying Dutchmen Fall To Davenport in MCHC West Division Showdown

The Hope College hockey team saw its win streak snapped at 15 with a 5-2 loss to Davenport on Friday night in Grand Rapids.

The Flying Dutchmen fell to 19-3 overall and 9-1 in Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference West Division play. They lead second-place Davenport by one point.

Hope hosts Davenport at 9 p.m. Saturday at Edge Ice Arena.

Senior goalie Drew Cook of Columbus, Ohio (Upper Arlington HS) stopped 11 of 15 shots before sophomore Eric Lipon of Brighton (Brighton HS) replaced him and made 26 of 27 saves.
