Senior Caleb Morgan of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central HS), scored twice to lead the Hope College ice hockey team to a 7-3 season-opening win over McKendree on Friday at Edge Ice Arena.

Junior goalie Alex Caradonna of Rochester Hills, Michigan (Birmingham Brother Rice HS), stopped 20 of 23 shots.
