Freshman Evan Fall scored with 1 minute, 55 seconds remaining to lift the Hope College ice hockey team to a 3-2 win and a two-game sweep of the Adrian College Gold team on Saturday.

The forward from Royal Oak, Michigan (Royal Oak HS), recorded his fifth goal of the season 1:25 after host Adrian tied the score at 2-2.

Hope improved to 11-1-3 on the American Collegiate Hockey Association season.

Senior Caleb Morgan of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central HS), and freshman Garrett Gormley of Fenton, Michigan (Flint Powers Catholic HS), also scored for the Flying Dutchmen. It was Morgan's team-leading 11th goal of the season.

Junior goalie Eric Lipon of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS), made 41 saves.

Hope returns to action on Friday, Dec. 5, when the Flying Dutchmen host Central Michigan University at Edge Ice Arena.
