Flying Dutchmen Beat GVSU For Return Trip To ACHA National Championships

The Hope College ice hockey team is skating back to the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 3 national tournament after edging Grand Valley State University 3-2 on Saturday.

It is the 13th consecutive trip to nationals for coach Chris VanTimmeren's Flying Dutchmen.

Two goals from junior forward Rob Calvert of Ada (Forest Hills Eastern HS) powered the Flying Dutchmen at Georgetown Ice Arena.

The ACHA Division 3 national tournament is March 11-15 in Coral Springs, Fla.
