The Hope College ice hockey team skated past Aquinas College 7-1 on Saturday in the American Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season finale in Grand Rapids.
The Flying Dutchmen (20-3-2-1 overall) finished second in the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference West Division with 22 points on 10 wins, two regulation losses, one overtime loss and one shootout loss.
Hope will face Michigan State in the MCHC playoffs on Friday, February 14 at Southside Ice Arena in Grand Rapids. Opening faceoff is 2:15 p.m.
Winner advances to play against at 12:30 or 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 15.
