Hope College's Paige Courts has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played through March 23.

The freshman from Caledonia (Grand Rapids South Christian HS) won all three of her matches at No. 4 singles in straight sets for the Flying Dutch during their spring trip to Orlando, Fla.

Courts posted victories against Wisconsin-La Crosse, 6-2, 6-3; Grinnell (Iowa) 6-2, 6-2, and NCAA Division II St. Michael's (Vt.) 6-3, 6-2.

Courts is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
