Hope College's Sheri McCormack has been selected Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Track Athlete of the Week for events through April 13.

The senior from Holland (West Ottawa HS) swept the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 16.22 seconds and 1,500-meter run in 4:36.42 at last weekend's MIAA Jamboreeto help Hope take second place.

McCormack is being honored as MIAA Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and third time in her career.

The Flying Dutch return to action this week at the Al Owens Invitational at Grand Valley State University.
