Sophomore Jane Pearson of Lake City (Northern Michigan Christian HS) placed runner-up in the heptathlon at the Hillsdale College Gina Relays this weekend.

Pearson finished second with a score of 4,286 points. She posted the top performances on Friday in the 800 meters with a run of 2 minutes, 38.24 seconds and in the javelin with a toss of 99 feet, 3 inches.
