Leftfielder Ryan Konkle of Marshall (Marshall HS) then doubled down the left-field line to knock in third baseman Eric Dawson of Grand Haven (Midland HS).
Adrian scored in the top of the fourth inning.
In the second game, Hope surrendered two runs in the top of the seventh.
Losing pitcher Ty Van Wieren of Grand Haven (Grand Haven HS) gave up five hits and four runs in 6 1/3 innings. Van Wieren (2-1) struck out five and walked six.
