The Hope College women's golf team shot five of the lowest rounds en route to winning the Manchester Fall Invitational on Saturday in Wabash, Indiana.
The Flying Dutch finished a team score of 325 at Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash, Indiana, as they placed 15 strokes ahead of runner-up Hanover (Indiana).
Sophomore Britni Gielow of Norton Shores, Michigan (Mona Shores HS), earned tournament medalist honors by shooting a 6-over-par 78.
Two Hope golfers tied for third with 82s: junior Morgan Leep of Hastings, Michigan (Grand Rapids South Christian HS), and freshman Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS)
Two others from the Flying Dutch tied for fifth with 83s: senior Montana Leep of Hastings, Michigan (Grand Rapids South Christian HS), and freshman Nicole Meyer of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS).
Hope returns to action next weekend, Sept. 19-20, with the 36-hole, two-day Wisconsin-Whitewater Tournament.
