The Hope College women's golf team shot a team score of 318 to win the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree of the season on Saturday.
Junior Morgan Leep of Hastings, Michigan (Grand Rapids South Christian HS), carded a 78 at Pine River Country Club in Alma to lead the Flying Dutch. She tied for second place.
Hope finished six strokes ahead of runner-up Saint Mary's to extend its lead in the overall MIAA standings to 14 strokes over second-place Saint Mary's after two league jamborees.
Sophomore Britni Gielow of Norton Shores, Michigan (Mona Shores HS), pictured, and freshman Nicole Meyer of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS), tied for fourth with 79s.
Freshman Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS), rounded out the Flying Dutch's scoring with a seventh-place 82.
Senior Montana Leep of Hastings, Michigan (South Christian HS), shot an 84 for Hope.
The Flying Dutch have won four consecutive tournaments and four overall this season.
Hope returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 30, when the Flying Dutch host the MIAA Jamboree at the Ravines Golf Club.
